Most hotel and rental elite status takes an application or a match request; the J.P. Morgan Reserve just hands you three of them the moment you're a cardholder. Carrying the card confers IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite, Avis Preferred Plus, and National Emerald Club Executive status outright in the US — no forms, no waiting period. The catch is getting the card itself: it's restricted to J.P. Morgan Private Bank clients with roughly $10 million in assets under management and carries a $795 annual fee.

From IHG Platinum Elite, Choice Privileges will match you to Platinum once per lifetime, and Wyndham Rewards runs a free match straight to Diamond, valid 90 days and extendable with ten qualifying nights. That Wyndham Diamond status keeps paying off: it matches into MSC Voyagers Club Gold, which itself matches into Explora Club (Explora Journeys) Gold — both one-time moves, with every hop mapped in the table below.

The rental side branches further. Avis Preferred Plus matches into Hertz President's Circle, but only with 25 or more rentals logged in the year, and that Hertz status then matches into Enterprise Plus Platinum, renewable with 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year — a legitimate cross-brand chain, since each rental company runs its own matches off rivals' status. National Emerald Club Executive, granted directly by the card, matches into Sixt Platinum, a status that doesn't expire. Separately, IHG Platinum Elite also matches into National Emerald Club Executive Elite — a higher tier than the Executive status the card grants directly — which then matches into Avis President's Club, Avis's own top tier, reached here through hotel status rather than the direct Avis grant.
