card · starting from cardholder · unlocks 12 programs (12 free)
Amex Business Platinum (US) opens a dozen status paths, and every one of them starts free the moment you hold the card — no stays or rentals required first. Enrolling gets you
Hilton Honors Gold,
Leaders Club (LHW) Sterling,
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite,
Avis President's Club, and
Hertz President's Circle, all complimentary for as long as you keep the card.
Hilton Gold does more than sit in your Hilton account — it's the entry ticket to several more matches. Choice Privileges will match it up to Platinum, a once-per-lifetime move.
Wyndham Rewards matches it to Diamond for free, though that status only holds for 90 days unless you add 10 qualifying nights. Hilton Gold also clears the way into
National Emerald Club's Executive Elite tier, with the renewal terms detailed in the reference below. Hertz President's Circle works the same trick on the rental side, crossing into
Enterprise Plus Platinum — which wants a current Hertz statement uploaded and renews on 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year — and into
Sixt Platinum, whose matched status never expires (the reference below has the renewal specifics). The rental routes cross between rival brands, which is normal here: each one runs its own match program against competitors' tiers.
There's also a longer road into cruising: the card's Hilton Gold matches into MSC Voyagers Club Gold, and that status matches again into
Explora Club (Explora Journeys) Gold. Every hop is mapped in the reference below, but note each match along that chain is a once-per-lifetime use, so it's worth being sure Explora is the status you want before spending it.
Between the five direct conferrals and the matches running off Hilton and Hertz, this card covers hotel, rental, and cruise elite status without a single paid enrollment fee anywhere in the chain.
