card · starting from cardholder · unlocks 5 programs (5 free)
The fastest way to Delta status from this card is Silver Medallion, and it doesn't take a single flight. The card grants a $2,500 MQD Headstart every Medallion Qualification Year, plus an uncapped MQD Boost of $1 for every $10 of card purchases. Silver Medallion requires $5,000 MQD, so the Headstart combined with $25,000 of annual card spend clears it on spend alone. That path is scoped to the US.
The card also hands you Hertz President's Circle outright, complimentary once you enroll, no rentals required — also a US benefit. That status isn't just a rental perk; it's the key that opens matches into three other rental programs, so it's worth locking in even if Hertz isn't your usual counter.
From President's Circle, the routes fork. Email a screenshot of your Hertz status to Avis and they'll match you to President's Club, but the match only holds about 12 months before you need 20 rentals or $6,000 of US spend to keep it.
Enterprise Plus will upgrade the same Hertz proof to Platinum, renewable with 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year — a much higher bar to maintain than to earn.
Sixt matches President's Circle to Platinum as well; the renewal terms there are in the reference below. None of these three costs anything to claim, but each has its own clock and its own upkeep, so treat Hertz President's Circle as the one status this card gives you for free and the others as what you do with it.
