Best Western Rewards has just two tiers worth chasing, and both come from the same source: a status match from World of Hyatt. Hold Hyatt Discoverist and you can match straight into Best Western Platinum — a genuinely free match, no stays or spend required, and no lifetime limit on using it.

Diamond, the top tier, works the same way one level up: Hyatt Globalist matches into Best Western Diamond under the same "no catch" terms, with no stays or spend asked of you. Status earned this way holds through December 2027, and the terms as currently written don't cap how many times you can repeat the match, so it's not a one-shot deal the way many hotel matches are. If you're in North America, Best Western asks you to email proof of your Hyatt tier to StatusMatch@bestwestern.com rather than complete the match online. There's no separate spend-based or stay-based route to either tier here — Hyatt status is the only door in.
