Best Western Rewards has three tiers, each with a free path in. The 
Best Western Rewards Visa Signature card confers Gold automatically in the US, as long as the card account stays open and in good standing. Hold Hyatt Discoverist and you can match straight into Best Western Platinum — a genuinely free match, no stays or spend required, and no lifetime limit on using it. The Best Western Rewards Premium Visa Signature card gets you to Platinum the same way, automatically in the US for as long as the account remains open and in good standing.
Diamond, the top tier, works the same way one level up from Platinum: Hyatt 
Globalist matches into Best Western Diamond under the same "no catch" terms, with no stays or spend asked of you. Status earned this way holds through December 2027, and the terms as currently written don't cap how many times you can repeat the match, so it's not a one-shot deal the way many hotel matches are. If you're in North America, Best Western asks you to email proof of your Hyatt tier to StatusMatch@bestwestern.com rather than complete the match online. Outside of Hyatt status and the two Best Western cards, there's no separate spend-based or stay-based route to any tier here.
