From Gold Elite, Choice Privileges will match you straight to Platinum, though it's a once-per-lifetime move: request it in the first half of the year and the status runs through that year; request it in the second half and it carries into the year after too. A separate free match takes that same Gold Elite status to Wyndham Rewards Diamond, starting with a 90-day trial before you need proof of your Marriott status; extending it through Dec 31 of the following year requires ten qualifying Wyndham nights. Between the two, Choice's is the simpler win since it locks in for the calendar year outright, while Wyndham's default term is short unless you back it up with stays.
