That Frequent Traveller tier doubles as the entry point into a car-rental chain, and every leg past the initial airline match is a free status match. One branch runs from Sixt Gold to Hertz Five Star and back to Sixt Platinum — Sixt, Hertz, and Avis all match each other's tiers here, so the back-and-forth between brands is by design, not an error — before finishing at Avis's top status, President's Club. A second branch forks off that same Sixt Gold match and instead runs through Avis Preferred Plus and Hertz President's Circle on its way to Platinum status with Enterprise Plus, a match available in the US and Canada.
