What Hertz unlocks

If you already hold Hertz President's Circle, you're one step from matching into elite status at Avis and Enterprise Plus. Avis grants President's Club free once you email a screenshot of your Hertz status to its status-match address; the match holds for about a year before you need to requalify, which takes an estimated 20 rentals or $6,000 in US spend. Enterprise Plus matches you into Platinum by uploading your current Hertz statement or card, and keeping it after that first year takes 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year.

Two more matches open up on the strength of lower Hertz tiers, both of which President's Circle members clear easily: National Emerald Club matches Executive Elite off Hertz's Gold Plus Rewards tier, and Sixt matches Platinum off Hertz's Five Star tier. The National match needs 25 or more rentals a year, or 85 or more rental days, to keep Executive Elite going after the initial period. Sixt says its matched Platinum status never expires, making it the simplest of the four to hold onto.
