What Citi Prestige unlocks

card · starting from cardholder · unlocks 5 programs (5 free)

Citi Prestige opens five car-rental status tiers, but every one of them runs through a single registration: cardholders sign up for the "select World Elite Mastercard" car-rental program through Mastercard Travel & Lifestyle Services, and that's US-only. Citi closed Prestige to new applicants in 2021, so this only works if you already hold the card. That one registration confers National Emerald Club Executive outright — no further steps, no matching, no waiting.

The same registration also feeds a longer chain: it credits Sixt Platinum, which picks up Avis President's Club along the way, before landing at Enterprise Plus Platinum — the reference below maps every hop and its renewal terms.

There's a separate branch off the same registration, too. It credits an Avis Preferred Plus tier — a lower rung than the President's Club level above — and Hertz will match that into President's Circle if you can show 25 or more rentals in the past year, a real activity bar rather than just a card swipe. That match is available once every five years, and once approved it runs through the end of the second calendar year afterward, so treat it as a one-time boost rather than a status you keep re-triggering.
