What Sixt unlocks

Sixt Diamond status opens three free car-rental matches: one direct hop into Hertz, and a two-step chain that runs through Avis into Enterprise Plus. All three cost nothing, and only the last leg is limited to a couple of markets.

The direct route is Hertz. Email proof of your Sixt Diamond status and Hertz matches you straight into President's Circle, with no card or spend required. You can only use that match once every five years, and the status it grants runs through December 31 of the second calendar year after approval.

The longer route starts the same way but keeps going. Your Sixt status also matches into Avis President's Club — email proof to Avis and the match holds for about 12 months. From there, in the US and Canada, that Avis status matches into Enterprise Plus Platinum, with a current Avis statement or card as proof. Keeping Enterprise Plus Platinum after the first year takes 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year, so the extra step only pays off if you actually rent that often.
