What Seven Seas Society (Regent Seven Seas Cruises) unlocks

cruise · starting from Commodore · unlocks 2 programs (2 free)

Seven Seas Society status opens exactly two doors elsewhere in cruising, and both are free status matches rather than cards or spend requirements. Hit Silver with Regent and MSC Cruises will convert that into MSC Voyagers Club Diamond — the lower of the two thresholds, so it's the first one you clear. Climb to Diamond with Regent and Explora Journeys will match you straight into Explora Club Platinum, its own top-adjacent tier.

Both matches are one-time moves: once you've used the conversion, you can't run it again on a later Regent tier. They differ in what happens after approval. Explora asks for proof of your current Regent tier and processes the match in about ten business days, with no further condition attached to the resulting Platinum status. MSC's match is looser to claim but has a catch on the back end — the matched Diamond tier expires if you don't take an MSC cruise within three years of getting it, so it's worth treating as a status you actually plan to use rather than one to bank indefinitely.

If you're deciding which to prioritize, there's no real competition — you're not choosing between them, since they trigger at different Regent tiers and stack as you rise. Someone already at Diamond or above with Regent qualifies for both matches at once and loses nothing by claiming each.
