What National Emerald Club unlocks

If you already hold National Emerald Club's Executive Elite tier, you're one step from elite status at two other rental brands. Avis grants its President's Club the moment you email proof of your National status to the program's update address, and that matched status holds for about a year. Sixt matches you to Platinum just as directly, and it's the one that keeps going: instead of expiring, it runs at the upgraded level for a year and then renews on its own.

Treat Avis as a standing offer you'll want to keep current — plan on refreshing it roughly annually — while Sixt, once matched, just carries on without you having to do anything further.

There's a longer route to a third brand. Your National Emerald Club status also matches directly into Hertz President's Circle, a once-every-five-year move whose matched status lasts through December 31 of the second calendar year after approval. That Hertz status then reopens Enterprise Plus's top tier: upload your Hertz statement or membership card and Enterprise matches you to Platinum. It's a US-and-Canada offer, and keeping it means renewing with 24 rentals or 85 rental days a year.
