What Capital One Venture X Business unlocks

The fastest way to elite car-rental status from this card is automatic: Capital One Venture X Business cardholders get complimentary Hertz President's Circle status just by enrolling through the Benefits tab in their Capital One account — signing up directly on Hertz's own site doesn't count. It's a US enrollment, restricted to cardholders 21 and older, and typically shows up in your Hertz account within 24 to 72 hours.

That President's Circle status is also the base for three further matches, each something you request rather than something that appears on its own. Email a screenshot of your Hertz status to Avis and you can pick up Avis President's Club; it holds for about 12 months, after which keeping it takes an estimated 20 rentals or $6,000 in US spend. Upload your Hertz statement to Enterprise Plus and you land its Platinum tier, open to both US and Canadian accounts and renewable annually with 24 rentals or 85 rental days. Sixt's match is the least fussy of the three: once granted, the Platinum status doesn't expire.
