What Sun Country Airlines Visa Signature unlocks

The Sun Country Airlines Visa Signature, an $89-annual-fee card from Synchrony, opens exactly one door into Sun Country Rewards: spend $10,000 on the card within a calendar year and you land in Plus, the program's base elite tier. Holding the card by itself doesn't confer anything — the spend threshold is what triggers status.

Both the card and the Plus tier launched together in September 2025, so this is a new route rather than an established one. Sun Country's own chart also lists flying 10 Sun Country flights in a calendar year as a way into Plus, but that's a separate qualification path that has nothing to do with holding this card — it works the same whether or not you carry it. For anyone who already puts travel spend on a card, the $10,000 threshold is the more practical of the two if a Sun Country flight schedule that dense isn't realistic.
